Our History

Aquacultural Research Corporation was founded in 1960 on Cape Cod with a mission to support the shellfish industry of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and beyond. Our shellfish seed is used to produce the shellfish we eat, for recreational shellfish beds and as an environmental remediation product. We will always strive to produce the highest quality product. Our customers are the most sophisticated growers, chefs and reef builders who expect the very best product from our business.

We have recently completed a new, state of the art, shellfish hatchery located on Chase Garden Creek in Dennis, Massachusetts, with expanded capacity to meet the growing needs of the dynamic shellfish community.
